PURPOSE: An excavation work support system which uses stereo vision technology using a 3D image and a 3D plan drawing is provided to reduce excavation working time and to prevent a safety accident by supplying the position information of a bucket. CONSTITUTION: A stereo vision(110) obtains 3D(Dimensional) image about an excavation working side. A plan drawing storage(150) stores a 3D plan drawing for determining final drilling depth. A microcomputer(180) matches the 3D plan drawing stored in the plan drawing storage with the 3D image of the working side through the stereo vision through a GUI. A virtual reality engine(160) converts the matched screen to the virtual reality screen.
