<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift register unit, a gate drive device, and a liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: The shift register unit includes a first thin film transistor T1, a second thin film transistor T2, a third thin film transistor T3, and a fourth thin film transistor T4, and further includes a drive unit and a pull-down unit, which pulls down a signal that a gate drive signal output end outputs to a low level when the gate drive signal output end needs to output a low-level signal. The drive unit 6 generates an AC drive signal for driving the pull-down unit 5 when the gate drive signal output end needs to output the low-level signal.
