<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly convenient station operation system. <P>SOLUTION: The station operation system in one embodiment includes an issuance part, a first memory part, a first distribution processing part, a second distribution processing part, a determination part and a passage control part. The issuance part issues a two-dimensional code ticket. The first memory part holds effective information created in the issuance of the two-dimensional code ticket. The first distribution processing part distributes the effective information held by the first memory part to a ticket gate machine in an exit station. The second distribution processing part changes the effective information stored in the first memory part when a change operation about the exit station is performed and distributes the changed effective information to a ticket gate machine in the changed exit station. The determination part makes a passage determination based on the distributed effective information and a medium ID acquired from the two-dimensional code ticket.
