<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of achieving precise fitting. <P>SOLUTION: The fitting method includes: a step of preparing a relationship C between a shaft kick point Y and a face angle X before or at an impact; a step of measuring the face angle X of a subject before or at an impact by a test club; and a step of selecting a shaft suitable for the subject based on the measured face angle X and the relationship C. The relationship C is created by correlation R of the face angle before or at an impact and a hitting result. The correlation R is based on the hitting result using a plurality of golf clubs having different shaft kick point rates.
