<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design aiding apparatus capable of reducing an operational burden on an operator. <P>SOLUTION: A design aiding apparatus of one embodiment comprises: display control means for displaying, on a display unit, a three-dimensional part model with plural surfaces defined using a coordinate system defined by three mutually orthogonal coordinate axes; receiving means for receiving an operation for designating one of the three coordinate axes as a designated coordinate axis; and selecting means for selecting surfaces corresponding to the designated coordinate axis among the plural surfaces using corresponding axis specification information being information for specifying which of the coordinate axes the surfaces correspond to. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
