<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of performing correction processing of defective pixels and processing for improving image quality with high accuracy at a high speed. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises: an image processing unit that performs weighted addition of color information of a first image in which each pixel has color information of any one color component of plural color components based on the pixel position of a target pixel to calculate the value of a color component different from the color component of the target pixel, thereby generating a second image in which the each pixel has plural color components; and a storage unit that stores information of the pixel positions of defective pixels in the first image. The image processing unit prepares plural coefficient patterns for weighted addition of the color information of the first image based on the pixel position of the target pixel, and based on the color component of the target pixel and the pixel positions of the defective pixels, selects a coefficient pattern and performs weighted addition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
