<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical microscope that enables fluorescence observation in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: A surgical microscope 3 comprises: a normal optical path A for guiding light from an observation object T to an eyepiece 15; a first sub optical path R diverging from the normal optical path A; a second sub optical path B1 (B2) joining to the normal optical path A; a photographing part 16 for taking a photo of the observation object T with light from the first sub optical path R; a display 21 for displaying an image based on an image signal of the photographing part 16 toward the second sub optical path B1 (B2); and reflection means 11 that is provided to retreat from a diverging point G of the normal optical path A and the first sub optical path B1 (B2) and causes the normal optical path A to bend by reflection.
