<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle drive unit enabling suppression of increase in the number of components by simplifying a holding structure of a bearing for supporting a rotating electric machine and shortening of the axial length of the unit. <P>SOLUTION: A rotor support cylindrical part 31 of a rotor support member 3 located coaxially with a rotating shaft X1 of a rotor Ro has a stepped cylindrical inner face 32 in which a step part 32a is arranged in an axial predetermined position. The stepped cylindrical inner face 32 includes: an inner peripheral large diameter part 32b located on an axial first direction A1 side from the step part 32a; and an inner peripheral small diameter part 32c located on an axial second direction A2 side from the step part 32a. A transmission member 4 is mounted to the rotor support member 3 from the axial first direction A1 side, and includes a pressing part 42 axially inserted from the axial first direction A1 side to the inner side of the inner peripheral large diameter part 32b. A rotor bearing 5 is disposed in a space with a support body 23 with an outer peripheral face 51a thereof brought into contact with the inner peripheral large diameter part 32b, and is sandwiched from axial both sides between the step part 32a and the pressing part 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
