<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromechanical conversion device capable of improving performance of detection of an acoustic wave generated from a measuring target, by suppressing a wave reflected from a part except a movable area of an electromechanical conversion element. <P>SOLUTION: An electromechanical conversion device such as an electrostatic capacitance type ultrasonic conversion device includes an electromechanical conversion element 10 having a movable area 16 for receiving an acoustic wave emitted from a test object, an electric wiring board 13 electrically connected to the element 10, and a reflection suppression layer 12. The reflection suppression layer 12, which is provided in at least a part, except the movable area, of a surface facing the side of the test object, restrains the acoustic wave, which reaches a part except the movable area, from being reflected to the side of the acoustic wave source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
