<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor in which text is not concealed by a sub-window. <P>SOLUTION: An information processor comprises: an input part 2; a display part 3; a browser part 11a for displaying electronic text 41 on the display part 3; and a pop-up display processing part 11b for displaying a sub-window in a window displayed with the electronic text 41. The pop-up display processing part 11b detects a display position in the window of a character string designated through the input part 2, and inserts the sub-window in an area adjacent to the display position.
