<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can increase excitement and enjoyment of a game by making a step-up notice performance possess a variation (diversity). <P>SOLUTION: The game machine selects whether to execute the step-up notice performance which is executed at notice steps in a plurality of stages as a notice performance for announcing that the game machine may be brought into a specified game state, and selects the notice performance form at each re-variation at the execution of the step-up notice performance from a plurality of kinds of notice performance forms. Then, when the execution of the step-up notice performance is selected, the game machine executes the notice steps in the plurality of stages in a selected notice performance form in each re-variation display which is executed in a re-variation display pattern.
