<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which is less likely to deform before and after being mounted to a substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The connector according to the present invention comprises: a contact; a body housing the contact and made of an insulator; a conductive shell formed in a cylindrical shape so as to cover the outer periphery of the body. The shell comprises: a body part provided with a mating connector insertion port and a body insertion port; and a reversely folded part which is formed so as to cover an upper surface of the body part by being folded back at a front end of an upper wall of the body part.
