<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which prevents dew condensation by eliminating a temperature difference between front and back faces of a louver by allowing uniform temperature-conditioned air (cool air) to flow on the front and back faces of the louver. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes an indoor unit having an air suction port 3 and an air diffuser 4; an air channel 6 disposed inside the indoor unit and communicating the air suction port 3 and the air diffuser 4 together; a blower fan 7 and a heat exchanger 8 disposed on a route of the air channel 6; and the louver 5 disposed at the air diffuser 4 so as to change an air diffusion direction, and having an air receiving face to receive air and to flow. A jump base 11 is disposed on a wall of the air channel opposing to the air receiving face of the louver 5, at an longitudinal-direction end position of the wall, for directing the air flow to the opposite side of the louver to the wind receiving face.
