A cup assembly includes a paper cup and a plastic lip is formed on the periphery of the open top of the cup. The lip includes a first spiral portion formed thereon. A cap has a second spiral portion formed on an inside thereof and the second spiral portion is engaged with the first spiral portion. The cap is easily removed from or mounted to the cup without shaking the cup to prevent the coffee or juice in the cup from splitting out. |
