The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for processing services on a single-mode chip. The method includes: during the period from the time when a terminal utilizes a first user identification module (UIM) to send an origination message to the time when the terminal receives a channel assignment message sent by a base station, a paging message from the other UIMs of multiple UIMs in the terminal is received, wherein the terminal sends the origination message to perform a calling service and the first UIM is one of multiple UIMs in the terminal; the service scheduling is performed according to the priority of the service corresponding to the paging message and the priority of the calling service. The present invention ensures the normal operation in a single-mode multi-duration state.
