<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which enables a document feed section to certainly be grounded without having an exclusive member for grounding. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 comprises: a document reading section 3 that reads an image of a document; an image forming section 4 that forms the read image on recording paper P; a housing 1a that accommodates the document reading section 3 and the image forming section 4 inside; an ADF 2 that rotates around a side S of the top surface of the housing 1a, is movable between the top surface opened state and the top surface closed state, and feeds a document by conveying the document to the document reading section 3; and an opening/closing sensor 7 that has a detecting member 71 for detecting opened/closed state of the ADF 2 as it protrudes upward from the housing 1a in the opened state and is pressed down by the ADF 2 in the closed state. The detecting member 71 is composed of a conductive material. By contact of the tip 71a of the detecting member 71 with a sheet metal part 21 of the ADF 2 when the ADF 2 is opened/closed, the ADF 2 and the housing 1a are conducted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
