<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that controls driving speed of a pair of rotors that holds and conveys a recording material and heats a toner image on the recording material, and thereby suppresses deterioration of the rotor, when recording materials are successively conveyed, between former and latter recording materials. <P>SOLUTION: When image formation is successively carried out on multiple recording materials, if the recording materials are not held and conveyed by a fixing nip part 27, control means included in an image forming apparatus controls to reduce rotation speed of a fixing belt 20 and a pressuring roller 22, the rotation speed being slower than that when the recording materials are held and conveyed by the fixing nip part 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
