<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse wave analysis method for accurately extracting a pulse wave RR interval equivalent to the RR interval of an electrocardiogram, from a pulse wave signal on which a noise component is superimposed. <P>SOLUTION: A pulse wave analyzing device carries out a pulse wave analysis for taking out the pulse wave RR interval from pulse wave information detected by a pulse wave sensor. Pulse waves continuously measured for a fixed time are passed through a plurality of digital smoothing polynomial filters to compute each differential signal and the time at which the differential signal becomes a peak. An optimal digital smoothing polynomial filter is then selected according to variation in the value of a time interval between the adjacent peaks, and the time interval which is the peak of the differential signal obtained by the selected digital smoothing polynomial filter is set as the pulse wave RR interval equivalent to the RR interval of the electrocardiogram. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
