<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target detector and a radiotherapy apparatus utilizing the target detector for detecting a target based on X-ray fluoroscopic images from a plurality of directions. <P>SOLUTION: X-ray fluoroscopic apparatus 20-1, 20-2 simultaneously acquire a plurality of X-ray fluoroscopic images different in sensitivity in one direction. An image processor 34 detects the target based on the plurality of acquired X-ray fluoroscopic images in each direction.
