<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component capable of improving a suppression effect of vibration sound occurring at a board caused by an electrostriction phenomenon. <P>SOLUTION: A ceramic capacitor 10 includes a ceramic capacitor element 11 and a metal terminal 12. The ceramic capacitor element 11 includes a pair of terminal electrodes 22 at both ends of the longer direction of a dielectric element body 21. The metal terminals 12 are connected respectively to the pair of terminal electrodes 22. The metal terminals 12, connected to an electrode connection part 32 which is connected to the terminal electrodes 22 and to electrodes 14A and 14B of a board, comprises: an external connection part 31 disposed so as to face the dielectric element body 21; an intermediate part 33 disposed between the electrode connection part 32 and the external connection part 31 so as to have a gap between a lower face of the ceramic capacitor element 11 and the external connection part 31; and a folded back part 34 to connect the electrode connection part 32 and the intermediate part 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
