<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor in which a fixing hole can be surely filled up together with a seal member. <P>SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a rotary angle sensor 100 is provided. The rotary angle sensor 100 is fixed in a fixing hole 31 and an O ring 80 holding an O ring groove 70 sealing the fixing hole 31 and the sensor is formed along a circumferential direction. In a first molding step, a cavity 10a of a first metal die 10 is filled with a PBT resin, thereby molding a columnar resin collar 40 which forms on a tubular surface 41 of an outer circumference a bottom surface 71 and one side surface 72 of the O ring groove 70 and a continuous surface 41a continued in an axial direction from the bottom surface 71 to an end face 42 in the axial direction. In a second molding step after the first molding step, a cavity 20a of a second metal die 20 in which the resin collar 40 is installed is filled with a PBT resin. Thus, another side surface 73 is formed which opposed to the one side surface 72 of the resin collar 40 in the axial direction, and a secondary mold resin 50 is formed which is joined with the resin collar 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
