<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning system and a positioning method restrained in installation cost. <P>SOLUTION: A positioning system comprises a target node 1 that transmits a positioning signal s1; at least one or more first reference nodes 2a that transmit a reference signal s2 after receiving the positioning signal; At least two second reference nodes (2b and 2c) that receive the positioning signal and the reference signal, measure a reception time of the positioning signal and the reception time of the reference signal, and respectively transmit to a positioning server information on the reception time of the positioning signal and the reception time of the reference signal that have been measured; and a positioning server 4 that estimates a position of the target node on the basis of the reception time of the positioning signal and the reception time of the reference signal transmitted from each of the multiple second reference nodes, positional information on the first and second reference nodes and a time lag of the first reference nodes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
