<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stopper mechanism capable of retaining a movement restriction object that continuously moves in a stepless manner to an arbitrary movement position. <P>SOLUTION: A rotor 33 on a check shaft 21 moves between a pressing wall of a holding member 30 that is inclined with respect to the check shaft 21 and the check shaft 21 so as to retain or release the movement of the check shaft 21. Upon extension of a piezoelectric actuator 29 connected to the holding member 30 so as to allow transmission of the movement, the pressing wall 32 elastically displaces toward the direction apart from the rotor 33. The state where the rotor 33 is held is then released. In a contraction state of the piezoelectric actuator 29, when the check shaft 21 is about to move toward a narrow side of a wedge shaped space defined by the check shaft 21 and the pressing wall 32, the rotor 33 gets into the narrow side of the wedge shaped space to provide a wedge action. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
