<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically total statistical information on a virtual resource which shares a physical resource by representing by a tree structure without omission a relation of a computer resource that a virtual server uses. <P>SOLUTION: A monitoring system includes a virtualization part which is executed by a physical computer to operate the virtual computer, the virtual computer which operates on the virtualization part, and a monitoring part which monitors components of the physical computer and virtual computer. The monitoring part manages components of the physical computer and virtualization part together as a base resource, and components of the virtual computer as a virtual resource, generates a platform tree by extracting components of the virtual resource and base resource for each predetermined platform in the form of tree structures, generates a service providing tree by extracting a tree structure including as an origin the base resource or virtual resource set with conversion information from the components of the virtual resource, and sets reference relation with respect to components included in the platform tree and also included in the service providing tree. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
