PURPOSE: A monolayer touch screen device with high precision and a location decision method are provided to decide a touch location on an X axis more precisely. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of signal electrodes are formed in a touch screen panel(100). A driving unit(220) applies a voltage having different waveforms to both ends of the signal electrode. A sensing unit(230) measures a charge quantity accumulated by an object touching the signal electrode. A signal processing unit(240) standardizes the charge quantity and decides a touch location.
