PURPOSE: A hair iron for straight perm is provided to reduce damage to hair and to enable a user to rapidly perform permanent surgical operation. CONSTITUTION: A hair iron for straight perm comprises: a pair of upper and lower rods(10,10') in which the tail end of a linear outer case becomes a handle unit; and a hinge unit(20) in which the rear end thereof is connected by a hinge shaft and which is widened by an elastic member. The outer case of the upper and lower rods is equipped a plane unit emitting thermal energy and a heating unit(30).
