MULTI-CHANNEL MEMORY WITH EMBEDDED CHANNEL SELECTION

PURPOSE: A multi channel memory with an embedded channel selection is provided to improve a program speed by communicating two related interfaces with two processors of a host. CONSTITUTION: A first interface(130) provides an access to a memory array through a first channel. A second interface(150) provides an access to the memory array through a second channel. A first register is accessible through the first interface and the second interface. A controller(145) simultaneously activates the first interface and the second interface. A specific level allocated to the first interface and the second interface to access the memory array is partially based on the contents of the first register.
