<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purifier capable of displaying the cleaning time of a filter and the type of water to be supplied in the same form and giving relatively easy identification to a user. <P>SOLUTION: A filter cleaning determination section 171 detects the cleaning time of the filter 101. A water type discrimination section 172 discriminates the type of water supplied from the water purifier 100 to the outside. A light source 140 emits light based on discrimination of the type of water by the water type discrimination section 172 and determination by the filter cleaning determination section 171. The light source 140 emits light in different colors in the case of light emission based on the determination by the filter cleaning determination section 171 and in the case of light emission based on discrimination of the type of water by the water type discrimination section 172.
