<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device with a small-scale simple structure, having a liquid crystal layer with adequate bending strength to which voltage is applied. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 1 includes electrodes 2a and 3a which have regions overlapping each other, connections 2b and 3b which are located at each one side part of substrates 2 and 3, a connecting substrate 5 which is held by the side parts of the substrates 2 and 3 so that terminals 5a and 5b are connected to the connections 2b and 3b. Thus, due to the common connection spots, the liquid crystal display device 1 achieves a small-scale simple structure to apply voltage to the electrodes 2a and 3a, and has adequate bending strength resulting from the structural state that the connecting substrate 5 is held by the substrates 2 and 3 for connection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
