[Also in Group I] A tractor 28 is provided with a circular saw attachment which carries the saw 1 on a boom 8 through the annular part 12 which can be rotatably displaced on part 13 to vary the position of the saw, which also can be vertically adjusted about the brackets 11 by the clevis 9. The boom is pivoted by bracket 14 on the assembly 17 for vertical adjustment under control of the hydraulic jack 23 and, in turn, the assembly 17 is similarly pivoted for horizontal adjustment under control of a jack (not shown). The saw is driven by shafts and universal joints in the tubular members 4, 8 and by a shaft extending at the side of the tractor which is coupled to the power take-off. The member 4 and annular parts 12, 13 may be omitted and the saw mounted directly on to the boom 8. |
