<p>The present invention relates to a method and a system for content management. Said method comprises: a Media Location Service System (MLSS) distributing node domains, wherein each node domain comprises one or more nodes; said MLSS controlling the nodes in each node domain to deliver content, wherein said nodes obtain and save the content according to a control command of the MLSS; and said nodes providing the service or directly redirect said content service request to other node in the same domain after receiving a content service request. The method and system for content management of the present invention can reduce the load of the media location service system. The present invention can reduce the load of the media location service system.</p>
