<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning device and an adjustment method and program for the positioning device, whereby a calibration process required for autonomous navigation positioning can be performed at appropriate timing without requiring a great load in order to only determine the timing of performing the calibration process. <P>SOLUTION: The positioning device comprises: first positioning means (S1, S2, S8, and S9) for carrying out positioning by receiving a signal from a positioning satellite; second positioning means (S5 and S6) for carrying out positioning by measuring the direction and amount of relative movement; correcting means (S11) configured such that when positional data during an arbitrary movement process is obtained through continuous positioning by the second positioning means and then positioning is carried out by the first positioning means, the positional data of each point during the movement process is corrected based on the positional result of the first positioning means; calibrating means (S14 to S19) for performing the calibration process for the second positioning means; and calibration timing control means (S13) for controlling the timing of performing the calibration process based on the amount of correction made by the correcting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
