<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate determination of the validity of a service providing device which provides a service for users. <P>SOLUTION: A portable communication terminal 40 transmits a challenge, which is obtained on the basis of communication with a server 30 managing a service providing device 20, to the service providing device 20. The service providing device 20 calculates a response using the challenge and transmits it to the portable communication terminal 40. The portable communication terminal 40 presents the result of a validity check of the service providing device 20 which is performed on the basis of the response calculated by the service providing device 20. The validity check of the service providing device 20 based on the response is performed on the server 30 by transferring the response to the server 30; or performed on the portable communication terminal 40 by executing a program, which is supplied by the server 30, on the portable communication terminal 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
