NONVOLATILE SEMICONDUCTOR MEMORY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a boot loading time of a nonvolatile semiconductor memory device used for a system which requires boot loading.

SOLUTION: The nonvolatile semiconductor memory device includes a storage area 10a which stores boot data; a first RAM (boot RAM 21) which stores the boot data; a second RAM (buffer RAM 22 or buffer RAM 23) which stores the remaining data of the boot data when the boot data exceeds the storage capacity of the first RAM; a nonvolatile area 40 which stores flag information indicative of whether the second RAM is performed in storing operation and address information indicative of a location of the boot data stored in the second RAM in the first storage area; and a control part 30 which transfers the boot data from the first storage area to the first RAM, and then transfers the remaining boot data of the boot data from the first storage area to the second RAM based upon the flag information and address information.
