摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion detecting device, an electronic apparatus, a method for detecting a motion and a program capable of accurately detecting in which axial direction the motion occurs with simple processing by reducing an erroneous determination due to unintended vibration or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A triaxial acceleration sensor 12 detects each of X-axial, Y-axial, and Z-axial acceleration components applied to a motion detecting device 10, outputs acceleration component data, and separates each of the acceleration component data into a quiescent component acquired by a low-pass filter processing and a motion component acquired by subtracting each of the quiescent component from each of the acceleration component data. The motion detecting device determines an axis whose quiescent component is maximum as a gravity axis and, when an axis corresponding to the motion component that exceeds a threshold first is an axis other than the gravity axis, detects that an apparatus is shaken in the direction of the axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
