<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater capable of detecting incomplete combustion of a burner distinctly from a misfire of the burner due to a wind. <P>SOLUTION: The water heater includes a combustion control section 92 executing combustion operation of the burner 5, that controls a rotational speed of a fan 84 and an amount of supply of fuel gas from a gas supply passage 6 so as to obtain a target combustion amount in accordance with a prescribed hot-water supply preset temperature, a flame rod 5c detecting a combustion flame of the burner 5, and an incomplete combustion detecting section 95 detecting the incomplete combustion of the burner 5 based on a detection signal of the flame rod 5c only when the combustion operation of the burner 5 is executed in a condition in which the fan 84 is operated at a rotational speed making the supply pressure of combustion air to the burner 5 from the fan 84 higher than a wind pressure threshold value assuming a wind blowing pressure from the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
