<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnesium alloy surface treatment method for obtaining a magnesium alloy having a surface excellent in corrosion resistance and coating adhesion. <P>SOLUTION: The magnesium alloy surface treatment method includes steps of: immersing the surface of magnesium alloy in an electrolyte solution containing 3-15 g/L of phosphate ion, 1-6 g/L of aluminate ion, 1-10 g/L of fluoride ion and 1-8 g/L of alkali hydroxide metal (in terms of sodium hydroxide); anodizing it; and then performing chemical conversion with a chemical conversion solution containing 1-100 g/L of pyrophosphate ion, 1-60 g/L of phosphate ion, 0.1-10 g/L of fluoride ion, 0.1-10 g/L of stannic acid ion and 0.1-10 g/L of metavanadate ion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
