<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording material processing apparatus that can suppress contact of a user with an ejecting roll that continuously rotates after ejection, and take out a recording material after ejection at an early timing. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 includes: an in-body stacking part 60 on which the recording materials are stacked; a recording material housing part that has an in-body ejection roll 23 that rotatably delivers the recording material and continues the rotation for a predetermined time after the delivery operation, and that houses the recording material; a cover member 80 covering the recording material housing part and provided openably; a release mechanism that fixes the cover material 80 and releases the fixation after the recording material is delivered by the in-body ejection roll 23; a stopping means that stops the rotation of the in-body ejection roll 23 when an opening operation is performed with respect to the cover material 80 by the user while the release mechanism is releasing the fixation, but the in-body ejection roll 23 is continuing the rotation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
