<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing member having durability against fatigue breakdown of a metal layer even if using the fixing member while deforming, the fixing member having a metal layer generating heat by electromagnetic induction; and to provide a fixing device and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This fixing device includes: a fixing belt 110 that is formed with an endless base material layer 111, a metal layer 112 provided outside the base material layer 111, having a rugged shape with the outside face defined as crests and troughs formed into curved faces, and generating heat by electromagnetic induction, a protective layer 113 outside the metal layer 112, and a release layer 115 via an elastic layer 114; an electromagnetic induction heating part generating an alternate magnetic field and making the metal layer 112 generate the heat by an eddy current induced to the metal layer 112; and a pressing roll pressing a recording medium onto which a developer image is transferred, to the fixing belt 110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
