<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel shape calibration tool to minimize variation in a calibration work and improve reliability of measurement data in measuring prescribed measurement items of a wheel, and a calibration method using the wheel shape calibration tool. <P>SOLUTION: A wheel shape calibration tool 10 includes a calibration tool body 11 which has a measuring portion whose dimension is known and is as same as that of a measuring portion of an unused wheel which is irradiated with a streak of laser light under a light-section method to measure prescribed measurement items thereof, a rotary stage 12 which rotates the calibration tool body 11 and sets an arbitrary attack angle to a rail 2 on a plain parallel to the rail 2, an X direction moving stage 13 and a Y direction moving stage 14 which move the calibration tool body 11 in forward, backward, right and left directions on the plain parallel to the rail 2, and a frame 15 which has the calibration tool body 11 and so forth mounted on and is installed on the rail 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
