<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine having two output modes, in which a standard mode chiefly aims to respond to torque whereas a low fuel consumption mode aims to suppress a rotational speed to reduce fuel consumption. <P>SOLUTION: Two types of control are set: first droop control in which an engine rotational speed varies when a load is applied; and a second droop control in which rotation of the engine more easily decreases compared to the first droop control when a load is applied. When the engine is switched into the standard mode, the engine is controlled by isochronous control for maintaining an engine rotational speed while PTO drive for driving a mounted working machine is engaged, and while the PTO drive is disengaged, the governor mode is automatically changed into the first droop control. When the engine is switched into the low fuel consumption mode, the engine is controlled by the first droop control in a state that the PTO drive is engaged and in a state that the PTO drive is disengaged, the governor mode is automatically changed into the second droop control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
