<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a gas barrier film, along with a method of forming a gas barrier layer, having favorable moisture/heat resistance, low cost and superior gas barrier performance. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the gas barrier film includes: a step in which an organic layer is formed on a plastic base material by using a monomer compound having a maleimide group expressed by general formula (1) and a polymerization initiator having two or more polymerization initiative regions in one molecule; and a step in which an inorganic layer is formed on the organic layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
