The present invention relates to a method in which a terminal selects a cell in a heterogeneous network. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method in which a terminal selects a cell in a heterogeneous network comprises: a step of receiving a measurement restriction pattern from a base station; and a step of selecting a cell with reference to the received measurement restriction pattern. According to said embodiment of the present invention, cell selection may be performed in an accurate and efficient manner.
