FOOD PROCESSOR

A food processor is provided which includes a container and a blade assembly. The food processor also may include a base with a housing and a motor configured to drive the blade assembly. The food processor may include an actuator configured to actuate a switch to permit activation of the motor. A lid may cover the top of the container, and a handle may be attached to the lid. The handle may be movable and when the handle is in a first position, the lid may be capable of being coupled to the container, and when the handle is in the second position, the lid may be locked to the container. The position of the handle also may prevent or permit activation of the motor.
