PURPOSE: An electric sliding opening/closing device of a showcase is provided to reduce the number of sensors for position control. CONSTITUTION: An electric sliding opening/closing device of a showcase comprises a first base plate(301), a second base plate(201), a linearmotion guide shaft for withdrawal, a linearmotion bearing for withdrawal, a motor cylinder(302) for right and left movement, and a linearmotion guide shaft for right and left movement, a linearmotion bearing for right and left movement, and a sliding switch part. The first base plate withdraws a door forward and backward. The second base plate is linked with to the withdrawal operation of the motor cylinder. The linearmotion guide shaft for withdrawal is parallelly fixed in the lower part of the second base plate. The linearmotion bearing for withdrawal slides the linearmotion guide shaft for withdrawal. The motor cylinder for right and left movement is installed in the low support frame of the showcase. The linearmotion guide shaft for right and left movement is parallelly in the lower part of the first base plate. The linearmotion bearing for right and left movement slides the linearmotion guide shaft for right and left movement. The sliding switch part slides the door to the right and left.
