摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, in a visible light communication system, for performing an automatic diagnosis and automatic lighting control of the visible light communication system by making it possible to easily obtain light emission intensity of a light-emitting part (in general, LED driving current) giving sufficient illumination at a receiver. <P>SOLUTION: A reflecting mirror 22 having an open hole is arranged above a receiver 21, and a monitor receiver 12 receiving reflected light 101b from the reflecting mirror 22 is arranged in a transmitter 1. An essential visible light communication is performed by visible light 101a passing through the open hole in the reflecting mirror 22 and, on the other hand, the reflected light 101b reflected at the reflecting mirror 22 is received by the monitor receiver 12. Light emission intensity of an LED of the transmitter 1 can be determined or corrected in real time by comparing data obtained by demodulating the reflected light 101b with data in transmitting or by comparing measured reflection intensity of the reflected light 101b with preliminarily obtained reflection intensity required for normal visible light communication. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
