<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armature for a rotary electric machine that prevents a burr in a corner of a laminated core from projecting, thereby reducing the amount of insulating material required for forming an insulating film, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A rotor core 10 of a rotary electric machine has windings wound around teeth. The rotor core 10 includes: a laminated core 20 that is formed by laminating pressed core sheets 22a and 22b; and an insulating film 21 that covers the laminated core 20. In each of the core sheets 22a and 22b, burrs 26a and 26b formed by pressing are situated on a side of a first end of the laminated core 20 in a laminating direction. In a first core sheet 22a situated at the first end of the laminated core 20 in the laminating direction, the burrs 26a in a teeth portion 24 corresponding to the teeth are folded back toward a second end of the laminated core 20 in the laminating direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
