<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reception level measurement accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: An IFFT processing unit 14 obtains a correlation value for each OFDM symbol by applying IFFT processing to multiplication results supplied from an RS replica multiplication unit 12. From the correlation value for each OFDM, a peak level determination unit 19 detects the peak of the correlation value for each OFDM symbol. By comparing the peak value of the correlation values for each OFDM symbol with a prescribed threshold, a frame format determination unit 20 determines whether the subframe of concern is a unicast subframe or an MBSFN subframe. From the determination result of either the unicast subframe or the MBSFN subframe, a reception level measurement unit 21 controls a reference signal for use in the level measurement, and measures the reception level.
