The trailer (9) has an electronic logic circuit (16) working on a brake of the trailer and designed in such a manner that the trailer does not exert reaction on driving characteristics of a bicycle (1) in a sliding operation and during braking of the bicycle. A force sensor (14) connected with the logic circuit is arranged in an area of a trailer coupling (13). A rotation sensor (17) is arranged at the bicycle or the trailer. An energy storage (15) e.g. electrical battery or capacitor, is connected with an electrical machine (11) e.g. hub motor, of the bicycle.
