Compound comprising a metal belonging to the family of lanthanides or mixture of compounds comprising a metal belonging to the family of lanthanides. Both said compound and said mixture of compounds,can be advantageously used in the construction of spectrum converters capable of enhancing the performances of solar devices (i.e. devices for the utilizationof solar energy) such as, for example, photovoltaic cells, photoelectrolytic cells.
